Re: Hornady criticaldefence .380 Kel-tec
I just got some Hornady CD 38 Special for my LCR. I've heard nothing but good about it.

Was that the Crimson Trace model?Donaldb wrote:At the Houston Gun Show today Gun Zone had them for sale for 649! After seeing it in person I guess I was surprised at the size, think the SW Airlight might be nicer and cheaper.

Re: Breaking news from PA
Interesting that when I read news reports about fatal tragic car accidents involving drunken driving, irresponsible drivers, etc., I never see anything in the article about concerns over the availability or restriction of automobiles. Especially since driving is legally a privilege whereas bearing a...

Re: Carrying at an INS checkpoint
You make a good point, Nitro, which I generally agree with. My personal preference would be to have all this done AT THE BORDER before it becomes an issue. If the border wasn't such a sieve, there would be much less of any rationale for it.

Here's the Miami CBS website's headline: "Robber Dies In Miami Burger King Shooting" http://cbs4.com/local/Burger.King.Shooting.2.966789.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Why not "CHL Holder Stops Burger King Robber"? Or maybe "Hero Halts Crime in...

Re: Carrying at an INS checkpoint
Why the H E Double Hockey Sticks is there INS/ICE checkpoints *INSIDE* of the country?? I would go bananas if I got stopped by ICE inside of the country! Have fun with that. Let me know how it works out for you. There have been checkpoints on 77 and 281 since I can remember. Try running one and I'm...

Re: Ruger LCPs at Academy
LOL. I've got an LCP. I just returned from the local Academy and, of course, they're out of .380, along with most other ammo. So... NOW you can get an LCP but NO ammo for it.

Just curious. Why do you think "you were made" by the clerk? Is your holster printing?

Re: LCP on the range
Tried my new LCP at the Marksman range today. 100 rounds of Winchester WB. No issues, every round loaded and fired. I'd thoroughly cleaned the pistol with Break-Free prior to firing. It's an easy gun to clean. Just pop one pin and it readily disassembles. I don't have large hands and I can get a com...
