I recall a while back that there was a person living in a house nearby the local range. All of the land was in the county. Daytime complaints werent a serious issue, but nighttime use of the range was limited. Once the person moved, extended evening hours were made available.

I've considered building a small range on my property. I've got some dirt work to get done out there this year so I may get the 'dozer guy to push up some dirt berms.

I believe the NRA offers a range building guide-- good for some ideas.
