I do remember that in years past, my DL had PO box and street address on it. I renewed DL last December and new DL
only had street address on it.
Have had CHL about 1-1/2 years and it only has street address on it.

Re: CHL and Homelessness?
I've had the same PO Box for 20 years. Also lived at the same physical address for close to that. My DL and CHL both
have my physical address on them (no po box shown). Since my PO box is my mailing address, both DL and CHL were
mailed to the PO box (had sticker on envelope w/PO box #).
I'm sure they want a physical address for DL and CHL so they would have an address to find you if need be.
I would suggest that someone that is homeless get a small PO box and use the physical address of a friend that will probably
be at this address for some time to come. That way, mail can still be sent to the PO box, but items like DL and CHL will have physical address on them, as required.
Of course, I suppose that a friend should or could take in their homeless friend until better times, but that's not always possible.
BTW, I have a medium sized PO box and it costs $54 per year.
