Longtooth, Thanks for the warm welcome! I appreciate it. Seamus, I believe the cartridge failed to fire. Each time after hearing a click but no bang, I ejected it and found a dent where the firing pin hit. Sometimes it was a little off center. The bullet box says Monarch .40 S&W 180 GR TOTAL MET...
