Plastic arrived yesterday via UPS overnight.
I guess because i contacted both my state rep, senator, Lt. Gov, and Gov Several times by email. I am not sure if that is what got it done finally or if it just took it's course but i am happy to have it either way.
Took my wally walk last night ate a Chili's and went to Wally world after. I was nervous at first but got more comfortable as night went on.
Good luck to all of you who are left waiting. I sure hope that they will be ready for all of us in 4 years when it comes time to renew!

Re: June Applicants
i think they tell you it will take longer than "they think it will" in order to not tell you something and not deliver on it.
I think the saying goes "under promise and over deliver"

Re: June Applicants
Woke up this morning to see "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"
i emailed the governor again last night stating how upset i was that i was told that i would be contacted by dps and a week later i still hadn't been. i dunno if that had anything to do with why i went complete today but maybe. now i must play the waiting game. I just hope it got overnighted ups like some of the others.

Re: June Applicants
Regardless of what DPS says it shouldn't matter what county you are in there should be a set of rules regarding this and there doesn't seem to be. It seems counties can take as long as they want to on these checks. We all paid our money (if we had to that is ) so we should be treated fairly and done in order. We shouldn't be at the mercy of some little county clerk who is too busy wasting our tax money instead returning our background checks.

Re: June Applicants
Looks like someone in the July applications thread has already got theirs. It sure seems that there is no method to their madness. Hope some of us don't have to wait and get skipped over like some of those in March and April.

Re: June Applicants
I emailed my state rep today since everyone seems to think it helps to get the reps involved. Let's see how well it works out.
