Morgan is a sensationalist fame whore. Whoever said he stood on the graves of Sandy Hook children to grab the spotlight was putting it gently.

Re: iPhone app? Yay or Nay?
You could make it something like FourSquare. I think they're an Austin startup. Basically, same idea except folks who have the app generate the content when they visit a business... rating it 30.06, 51%, etc.
I'd definitely use it.

If it's bad enough to pull, it's bad enough to shoot.

Re: Horrified Riders Witness Stabbing Death on NYC Subway
I saw another article on this that had a lot more detail. From it, it sounds like the guy with the knife could make at least a plausible case for self-defense. But what really caught my eye was that when it kicked off, one of the passengers pulled the emergency stop and notified the conductor. The ...

Re: What to say when people ask "why would you ever need a gun?"
My response depends on whether or not I'm feeling pithy. Not pithy: I refuse to leave my family's well-being at the mercy of someone else's good will for them (or, more accurately, the lack of it). YMMV. Pithy: Guns are like parachutes -- if you need one and you ain't got one, you'll never need one ...

Re: Best Austin-area CHL class
Took Ross Bransford's class a few years back, probably 2004 (?). Anyway, liked him well enough, and his class, too, although I'm an attorney and wrote a review at that time that he was a little loose with how he characterized Texas law. Things like "it is a defense to prosecution that..." ...
