We had just as many guns back when I was a teen, and just as many violent books/games/shows/films, but I don't recall kids going ballistic until they started putting them all on "good" drugs.
IMO, there needs to be another HARD look at all the crap being distributed to people for the same supposed "woes" all us older folks experienced and handled WITHOUT needing some doctor to fill a prescription.
My son quit going "ballistic" after he started on his medication. He is a great kid, smart and very caring. His Mom and I never could figure out why he kept going off on kids. Now he doesn't and is rapidly growing into a fine young man.
