Re: Rugers... why not more popular?

Ruger is great- my very first pistol was a 22/45 (still have it too), given to me on my 16th b'day by my dad. I've had many Ruger pistols and rifles, and may purchase a Red Label soon if someone stops dangling those cheaper Turkish O/U's in my face... Long story short, I've NEVER been unhappy with ANY Ruger firearm I have EVER shot or owned. Their pistols with the LCP, 345, and revolvers excepted are big and blocky, and my P89 not very accurate shooting only 6" off the bench w/ Golden Saber @ 25 yds, but it is 100% reliable even with the crappy promag magazine. I used to have a No. 1 (want one again too), it was my favorite praire dog rifle (.22-250 baby!). I don't like the 10-22 but that's just my own weirdness. You can't go wrong with Ruger, I just like my Glocks for carry and the J frame or it's Taurus Model 85 cousin. I purchased a P345 a couple days ago, it's my first .45, I'll be testing it and evaluating it for possible acceptance into my collection...I just finished a complete disassembly and cleaning, and it's by far one of the best engineered weapons I have ever seen. I hope the reliability and accuracy is on par with the engineering and my first impressions. I am I worried? Nope. Just want to make sure. Am I a Ruger fan? Guilty as charged.
