I had a PM40. The polymer rail guides got somewhat chewed up after a few hundred rounds. I cleaned up the burrs with an Xacto knife and had no further problems. The only metal in the rail guide is at the rear of the frame. I can't make out exactly what that looks like from the resolution of the pictures. However, the "bulge" in the front of the frame doesn't look good to me at all.03Lightningrocks wrote:I was cleaning my PM9 this afternoon and noticed something I don't recall seeing before. I can put picks up of other parts of gun if needed but there are no signs of cracks in frame. My largest concern is for that small chip in the metal rail.
I'd suggest giving Kahr a call and emailing them the pictures. They're good with their customer service and they're the best positioned to give you answers you can rely on.
