Because most ranges don't allow work from the holster and most folks work with the gun on the shelf in front of them, there's a "gotcha" built into holsters that don't cover the gun all the way to the muzzle that is easy to overlook.Weg wrote:Glock 21 in Supertuck with vest. Only thing is the barrel extends quite a ways past the end of the holster and kind of rubs on my side when i am sitting. Drove to Florida like that once and it was def. not comfortable. I'm assuming if I got the correct holster ,the leather backing would extend farther down.
If you fire a few quick rounds and put that hot gun back into your abbreviated IWB rig like you would likely do during an incident where you had to use it, you'll immediately discover the issue when the hot metal beyond the end of the holster meets up with your tender skin.
