I have a target made out of steel armor plate that shatters any pistol round that hits it and makes a clear sound that indicates a hit. Bullets don't make dents in it like they do in soft steel. It is designed to hang from a cable or chain so that the plate is angled and deflects fragments into the ground. It also has a heavy rubber front piece that hangs a couple inches away from the metal to keep fragments from bouncing back toward the shooter. I no longer have any place to use it. PM me with an email address if interested and I'll dig it out of the garage and send photos and pricing.CompVest wrote:Hang rubber horse stall mats in front of the metal plating. Allow a couple of inches of air space between them.
