Re: Ruger LCR now in stock
I got mine today! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Was hoping for $450 or less, but gave in to the temptation at a little higher  . (I can resist anything but temptation!) It had only been on display 10 minutes, and was the only one in stock. I h...

Re: HB 1893 off to Calendars
Nice summary. You probably are pretty close on your conclusions. Here's hoping it makes it through all the hurdles!

Re: HB 1893 off to Calendars
They are required to consult students, faculty, staff, etc., but unfortunately, they are not required to form their policy in agreement with the desires of those groups. So even if a majority of students, etc., favor concealed carry on campus, the institution can still ban them. Unless I'm reading s...

Re: HB 1893 off to Calendars
It's disappointing that the substituted language appears to give private or independent institutions a complete "out" to continue prohibitions against CHL carrying on campus. Charles, I don't see wording that exempts parking lots from this prohibition. Am I missing something? :???: Thanks!...

Re: April Applications
GOT IT! :woohoo I've been lurking in this room without comment, since I sent in my application. Received my PLASTIC today, 2 days short of 90 days, but not without some assistance from my State Representative. About 1 week after my State Rep inquired, I was told my PIN was mailed on June 12th. As o...

Re: Received PIN today
Congratulations, Vig!
I've posted a reply similar to this to another member who also received his PIN today. My app was received in Austin on 4/21, but haven't got my pin yet. Hopefully, right after the holiday.
Good luck! and don't wear out your "Enter" key checking status!

Re: PIN Received
Congratulations! At least that's progress!
Your dates are almost identical to mine (mine was received in Austin 4/21), but I don't have my pin yet. Maybe after the holiday!
Yours came by mail, right? Not by email.
Here's hoping your (our) remaining wait is short!
