Well I'm about to get a .357 Air Weight. I didn't find it any worse than a 357 steel revolver. When it comes to personal protection, I want the biggest I can get. It might not be pleasant to shoot, but neither is dying.seamusTX wrote:I have shot an alloy snubby .38 Special revolver and would not buy one. I am not generally sensitive to recoil, but i found it hard to control.
I'm hoping the ladies can help with both purse and handgun selection. I've carried fairly heavy shoulder bags while traveling and didn't find it particularly onerous. I don't see how a pound one way or the other would make a big difference.

Re: Beretta Jetfire 950 Pistol
One of the light weight or "Air weight" revolvers would fit the bill nicely. The ammo weighs more than the gun.agbullet2k1 wrote:Keltecs and the LCP are both very lightweight and small. The PX4 is going to be a little heavier and bigger. The revolvers are also probably heavier than the keltec or LCP. All of these can be fired DA.
If you gave us your location we could help you with your ammo selection. I know Gun Master in Plano has .25ACP ammunition.
