Rey,
It's tough to open the mail or cut a seat belt with your 1911...I am sure there are those who claim they can....but a nice Spyderco or Benchmade (or any other folder of your choice) should make its way into your pocket! I have needed my knife many more times than I have my gun....just my opinion. Take care.

The pictured knife is a gift from my Father......about ten years ago. He purchased (and hunts with) the exact knife in a larger version. It is a Carl Schlieper knife commonly referred to as the "german eye" line of knives. The blade is marked with the "all seeing eye" and the words Trophy Line Pro Hunter Hammered forged #379 Solingen Germany.
You could easily substitute your bic razor with this baby...it gets sharp!
The knife feels very much like a Puma (I have a puma almost exactly the same shape and size). Great observation!
