Sentry makes a waterproof safe and it is fairly inexpensive. Kimberly and I invested in one after Ike. My office received a few of these following Ike and they did their job....not a drop of water in them after weeks in a yard or house.Liberty wrote: I don't know if safes can be bought water proof but it might be worth concidering.

We also rented a safety deposit box in East Texas to keep a copy of everything off of the coast
