well after email to governors office. I got a call today from Jan caffey telling me my license was being overnighted and should be here tomorrow. Anxiously waiting.

well I've emailed my state rep twice now with no response so last night I emailed the Governor got a canned response that they are asking DPS director to look in to the delay and conflicting responses. We shall see if there is any change.

well i called DPS today to check status the first tech i got told me still processing. I asked why they told me last week all that was needed was to mail license. Her response was they were wrong. Called back 20 min. later and got Jessica she says it was approved on 9/24/08. And license was being printed she said it should not be much longer. I hope!

They received mine the same day as you mine still says processing app. Hopefully not much longe

Called DPS they say mine is ready all they have to do is send it out. Now get this he said it should be there sometime in October that really narrows it down. Hey I could walk to Austin and pick it up. Oh well no use getting upset.

Yeah I called DPS yesterday and was referred to a voice mail box from a the lady that was handeling mine. When she called me back she informed me mine had been sent to be printed but no idea how long this would take. Hope this is true maybe i will have it by halloween lol

Well looks like another weekend without my plastic! They still say waiting on BG checks as long as i have lived and worked in this small county (Rusk) It shouldn't take this long

Day 61 after about two weeks and call to DPS I received reply to two emails one stated everything normal one waiting completion of BG checks. One atated fingerprints accepted waiting on BG checks Hopefully that means not much longer

Well after two emails in two weeks with no reply checking status. I called DPs today and was told Waiting on BG checks everything looks good so far. An guess what about 10 min. later got reply from email stating same thing. Oh well guess more waiting

Woke up this morning to processing application. Did not expect that this quick maybe things are getting better for DPS

After 30 days in austin application still not entered in system.

packet arrived at DPS 7/18/08.
Now for the wait
