I wish only that it were still entirely possible that he does not fall flat on his face and wreck everything. Of course, part of me really does hope that he succeeds in doing everything he wants to do, just like he wants to do it. That will do more to guarantee a century of Republican presidents than just about any other thing I can imagine.Zee wrote:Its entirely possible Obama falls flat on his face and wrecks everything.
Obama doesn't have to be worse, but he sure seems determined to make sure he is worse in every possible way.Keep it mind we can have more than one major-league goofball. I really don't understand the debate based on some premise that Bush or Obama has to be the worse. Bush was a mess and Obama may be a mess also. But Bush was indeed a mess.
Bush was focused on doing one thing right, and allowed other things to fall by the wayside. The only thing Obama is focused on is trying to blame everything that goes wrong in his own administration on Bush. I think history will review Bush as having succeeded in keeping America pretty safe from terrorism that was otherwise at its doorstep in spite of opposition from even his own party. Obama will likely be viewed by history as screwing up even the one thing Bush did right while driving everything else further into disaster.
