Yeah, me too. Is the gun itself illegal, or is it illegal because it's in the possession of a prohibited person, such as a convicted felon or illegal alien? If the latter is true, then the state needs to take action against those people who violate the law rather than against inanimate objects. Sorry, no can do. Article I, Secton 20 of the Texas Constitution says, "No citizen shall be outlawed. No person shall be transported out of the State for any offense committed within the same. This section does not prohibit an agreement with another state providing for the confinement of inmates of this State in the penal or correctional facilities of that state."
