I just want to point out that a lot of gun owners in some towns and cities might be isolated gun owners, since everyone is afraid of discussing guns because they could lose their job or friends. I know a lot of my friends don't like (hate) guns and the ones that have guns, I don't hang out with cause their retards. Isolation doesn't really help ignorance or stupidity. I would think, that if the facts about what that guy did (real or fake) were brought to his attention he would be very sorry that he did it or, like lead_jedi says, someone find the bleach.
I only just recently started thinking about "what if I shame the chl holders" and that "I don't want to do anything that could jeopardize our RKBA." I always respected firearms, I just didn't think about the bigger picture. I knew if I wasn't responsible with firearms I could get killed, or someone else could, but I had no clue it could hurt our cause. I just didn't think it through.
We need to come up with a better way to educate people. Maybe a traveling seminar on guns in america or something, if you offer punch and pie everyone will come. Teach people the history of guns and what they mean. Maybe a entertaining weekly podcast or something promoting being responsible with guns. I'd volunteer to do all the technical work, but my face wasn't made for tv. I'm more of a glock, we need a tricked out 1911 on screen lol.
ps: everytime I hear the name "attack of the show" I die a little inside :-(, does anyone remember the screensavers, or ttv, or unscrewed :-(.
