Thank you!! Very well said and I could not agree more!nitrogen wrote:As someone that didn't like Sarah Palin when she was McCain's VP, I have a few pieces of advice for her.
And this goes for any candidate, really, but especially for her.
(no, i'ts not snarky)
1) figure out what you're going to stand for, then stand for it.
George Bush did this very well, even though the things he stood for I really didn't like.
2) Don't change #1 just so more people will like you.
Obama. 'nuff said. Keep #1 in mind. I may still hate you for it, but be true to yourself and don't forget your base. You can't make everyone like you; at least keep the folks that voted for you liking you.
3) Don't be afraid to get help. Think before you speak.
Hon, you need help when it comes to talking to people. You tend to say stupid things. We all aren't Ronald Reagan or Bill Clinton. If you're going to go off script, think about what you're going to say before you say it. Imagine hearing what you're about to say shouted by the news media. They already hate you, you don't need to give them more fodder. Let them hate you for what you stand for, not the dumb things you say.
4) Really mean it when you say "Country First"
Plenty of Democrats and other lefties hate you. Don't get personal. Be above it all. Our country needs that.
