Re: Slightly discouraged and in need of advice

Nothing wrong with a good used firearm. Most people only fire a couple hundred rounds through most guns and then they collect dust, become safe queens etc. Of course you could be like most on this board a put thousands done range each year:)

Re: Slightly discouraged and in need of advice

Totally agree! 36 feels way better in the hand then the subcompact Glocks. If you want an affordable gun that is easier to conceal I would stay in a 9mm in semi auto that is single stack. I would also check out a used third gen smith like a 3913 or 908. My girlfriend loves hers!

Re: Slightly discouraged and in need of advice

I would go with an LC9 as an affordable gun that is in a lower price range and is still at least 9mm. As for the 36 it is a great gun but what it has in thinness it lacks in overall length and grip size. My dads friend had one and he could conceal his Glock 26 easier, so when I got a subcompact Glock I split the difference and got a 27. Four years later I have put thousands of rounds through it without a hiccup. I do like those 36s though, I think of them as a thin compact Glock, not sub compact.
