I don't think it has too much affect on the firearm, unless you coat the inside of the slide, or slide/receive interface points. There is a review of DuraCoat here that explains the process and how-to: http://www.bowhunting.net/artman/publis ... Coat.shtml

I have been looking for some punisher or hitman grips for my para 14-45 or my RIA

If only it wasn't photoshopped I'd buy it from him haha
You could buy two cans of Duracoat and make your own. It would not be hard to do.

White base coat, then stencil off the smooth sections of the handle and put on a red second coat.

Duracoat works well for things like that. Punisher would be easier than Hitman as you would not have shading and details.

the one on the left has a spiderman looking grip, I would love to see that in red with white spiderweb outlines.

the one on the left has a sweet lookin grip on it. was that stock or after market?
That is stock... it is an HK45 (full size V3 model) with the Large back-strap in place. Also of note, the grip texture on the HK 45 is similar to sand paper and will grind off any soft skin on your midsides (love handles) when carried IWB (Ask how I know).
