I called DPS today and they said that my background check had cleared and my fingerprints had cleared so it sounds like I might be pretty close!!

Still processing application so today I got out of my waiting chair and went and bought a new Ruger LCP. Haven't got a chance to shoot it yet, but it feels like a pretty good little pocket gun. I looked a Kel-Tec also and I just like the Ruger better. Anyways, back to my chair!

The way things are going, I wonder if I should send in my renewal application as soon as I get my license?

I just checked my bank statement and it says that my DPS check cleared on the 7th. I wonder if it would speed things up any if they had to wait until they approved or denied your application until they cashed your check?

How does DPS notify you when they have asigned you a pin #? If they received my packet on 4/30, should they have notifed me yet?
