Down here in the South Houston/Galveston area, I can't drive more than 5 miles without seeing a billboard advertising the next show in Pasadena in giant yellow-on-black contrasting letters. Seems like they're pretty consistent about updating them with the new dates. I also hear radio advertisements starting the week of the show, too. I don't think I've ever read an issue of the Chron, but I did buy one that had me quoted in one of the articles about some Houston Symphony thing, and of course the one with our wedding announcement.Greybeard wrote:Quote/Question: "Who doesn't keep track of when the gun shows will be?"
Unlike us "firearms enthusiasts" that hang out here, I'd guess that at least 95% of the adult population in DFW does not keep track of the gun shows. We keep a table at the Market Hall show, and yes, I see lots of "regulars", but also many who are there for the first time - very likely from having seen a little ad in the sports section of the DMN.
