Yeah, I forgot about that one but at least the Lt Governor told them to let her out.

It was the state supreme court who mandated she be released while they review the case. There is still a possibility she has to serve the remainder of the 7 day sentence for contempt of court. People keep saying it was Abbott who had her released, when he had nothing (at least officially) to do with it. I am unaware if he had any unofficial influence on the court's order.

He came out in support of her was my point.

You are correct, and even personally contributed enough to her gofundme to cover the fine issued by the judge.
