Man who attacked Kyle Rittenhouse with a gun and was shot for it was hit and severely injured by a hit and run driver.

I think the point is more about the fact that the guy is trying to sue Kyle. I am no attorney but it seems like the counter suit is to put a stop to being sued. Maybe I worded that bad but I hope I made my point.
I would agree. Especially since Rittenhouse does have money. A LOT of money. Money recently aquired from a lawsuit settlement....

Grosskreutz should be in jail. But a major judgement against him would be the next best thing.
Agreed. But I'm sure he doesn't have any money, so Rittenhouse probably won't see a dime.

Conroe TX Brewery pulls out of event featuring Kyle.
So they claim to be apolitical while making a very political move. Just great, a Texas brewery run by woke leftist scum. It is obvious the Texas Tribune is also woke leftist scum. Notice the wording they use...
featuring Kyle Rittenhouse, who was famously acquitted of fatally shooting two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at a Black Lives Matter protest in 2020.
First off, it was no Protest, it was a RIOT. Second, they failed to mention he shot them in self defense! Even in Texas we have to deal with these leftist pukes. Makes me very angry.

Of course, he is a UT grad, so that might help explain it.
My son graduated from UTA. When he would come home on breaks, it would take everything I had not to completely loose my crap on some of the leftist loon garbage that came out of his mouth. This was when Odumbell ran for his first term. Those kids had convinced each other that voting for Odumbell was the only way to prove you were not a racist. He could not tell me anything that Odumbell would do to improve our country. Just having a black president in itself was the ticket to freedom. It would usually shut him up when I reminded him that it was republican money paying his tuition and housing(ME). He then graduated from University of Houston school of law. He still will say things that make me want to hang myself but he claims to be libertarian now. I think the problem is that the entire higher education system has been taken over by communists. They are using the money conservative parents pay them to indoctrinate our youth in the ways of Karl Marx and social "equity".

I had him sitting in a deer stand with me at 3 years old and he killed his first buck at 8. He loves shooting sports and many of my conservative ways are deeply ingrained in him. I think his upbringing is all that stands between him and total leftist loon thinking.

I might. Sniff. Snowflake withdrawal is hard.

She's an old friend; we go back to right after college. We've drifted more apart in our views--of course I don't feel mine have changed much; but she probably doesn't feel hers have, either--but as long we don't talk politics, we're fine. We talk a few times a month, sometimes for up to an hour.

For the life of me, I can't in recent memory recall an actual debate with someone who leans more than about -10% left. There seems to seldom be any rationality, any applied logic or critical thinking. All emotions and perceptions. It must have been how Eratosthenes felt trying to convince people that the world wasn't flat. "Poppycock! Your evidence means nothing! It's one of your radical science-conservative tricks! It's all Trump's doing!"
You hit a nerve of mine on that one. This has somehow become the new "go to" for leftist loons! It is as if they think my conservative leanings have anything at all to do with Donald Trump! I have been conservative since I voted Ronald in my first illegible to vote election. Jimmy Carter was all the leftist loon I needed to live through to know I was not a democrat.

"Until I watched the trial for myself, I didn’t know the gas station where it all started and where Kyle stayed up until they started attacking him, is owned by his grandparents. They came on to his property to attack him.

I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.

I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.

I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.

I didn't know that someone knocked Rittenhouse down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.

I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.

I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.

I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).

I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.

I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater. I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.

IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB... we would ALL have known this and tax payers dollars would not be wasted and more division created!"
My cousin found and posted that a couple days ago. It is amazing how none of that information is shared even to this day by the MSM. Amazing is the wrong word. Infuriating better describes it. It seems people are all getting their information from the same place and it is regurgitated over and over again with the little details that matter left out.

I suggest that the most expedient option is for Wisconsin to vote out their Governor... Kenosha to vote out their DA... and the Federal Government to defund the FBI.
This is where you and I see it differently. That time has passed. The very government that is exercising tyranny over the people, have utilized technology to control who rules over us. We just need enough folks to realize what is really going to have to happen. The final move will be when the government comes after our firearms and that time is not very far off. We will then see who lies down like whipped dogs and who stands and resists like wolves. My bet is that we will discover that the true wolves are about 1% of us.

At this juncture, that is not the point! The point is that they will do it anyway. The power structure in Washington just put federal investigators on parents who merely objected to the program the school board had forced upon them. The point is that even though the grand jury stated to start the wait in Mexico policy, Bidon and his minions decided to ignore it. The point is. When are we the people going to exercise the true meaning of the 2nd amendment to the constitution? Washington power establishment, with their Marxist goal, is ruling over "we the people" in a way King George iii never even came close to.

Watching how quick and easy they put the feds on regular citizens is very concerning. The feds have no place in this if not to prosecute and investigate the instigators of the riots, true insurrection and looting. Where are the calls for investigation of the racist hate group BLM?

chasfm11 wrote: Sat Nov 20, 2021 2:00 pm The author says that Rittenhouse was not a hero. I disagree with that, too. I feel strongly that he made a mistake by going into the middle of that fray. But his heroic behavior stems from a very limited response to that attacks launched against him. He could have unleashed far more than he did - as much as CNN accused him of unleashing. But he didn't. He stopped the threats and stopped when they were no longer threats. That takes a level of restraint that many, perhaps even me, may not be able to duplicate in difficult circumstances.
I have to admit that I thought to myself more than once that I likely would have had a much higher body count. I think for a young man his age he reacted remarkably when it came to when he used deadly force and when he did not. Personally, I might have found me a corner to stand in and shoot as they approached. I just don't know.

If I thought there was going to be a gun fight, I just wouldn't go.

I think a part of this prosecution is to discourage regular folks, every where, from defending themselves.

I watched parts of the trial. The defense closing arguments were a good summary of the case. Including video. The only mistake I saw from KR was being at the wrong place at the wrong time and getting separated from his buddies. Every shot he took, was defending himself from great bodily harm or death.

Unlike the jurors in this trial,
I have never been in a bar fight.
I ran from a bar that had a fight breaking out. Got on my bike and was down the road before you could say spit. Don't know how it turned out. I went in thinking it looked like a nice place to met other Harley riders. Guess not. Careful where you stop when on a lone road trip.
