This happened a town over from where i used to live. Unfortunately, word is, the DA is going after the store employees for assault and battery. I'm so glad to have gotten out of that hellhole. I called 911 more in my 5 years there than I did the rest of my life combined....

I just heard yesterday that the DA has decided not to press charges against the store people. I think he realized that this was a sure election loser…even in California. At least they had the sense to ignore Governor Haircut's suggestion to use air horns for self defense. What a feckless moron that mutt is.

If the store keepers had been white, they would have filed charges but due to them being a minority, it does not fit the narrative.

While I feel real horrible about the 16 year old and her baby, I am reminded of a proverb. Don't know off hand which book of the bible it comes from but it goes something like, "if you live by the sword, you shall die by the sword". Reading the story, many in this family obviously had some kind of gang ties. Who knows what the reason for the assassination was, it really matters not, someone in that family crossed the wrong gang banger in some way. It is quite common for gangs to go after the whole family in an effort to send a message to others, and it should work. Some folks seem to get confused about the difference in a Constitutional right and a priveledge granted by government. You know what I find somewhat perplexing? That a woman who is 6 months pregnant can murder her own baby but if a criminal kills her while she has that same baby in her body, suddenly the baby is a human life and the shooter is charged with two murders. Weird, don't you think?

Didn't I just hear about a similar thing happening somewhere just a week or so ago. They had the guy at emergency room and wouldn't treat him inside because he had not been vaxed. That guy died of heart failure as well.

In full disclosure: I have not eliminated my pork consumption, but I have cut back since I learned how smart they were.

I still like bacon but eliminated it from my diet many years ago over the health issues of eating it. I still grill the occasional pork loin chop. Breakfast sausage is maybe once a month or so. It really would not bother me to stop eating pork if it get's too expensive. I like chicken and beef more than pork anyway.
