True enough, but then the Founders never intended that "children" should be part of the electorate. They designed the system not to be a democracy and so that voting was limited to productive people with a stake in the system. We've stripped all that away for the delusion of "one man one vote." It's absurd that someone who doesn't pay taxes gets a vote on how those of us who do are taxed.

Re: obamacare upheld

I find it amusing that the folks who are trolling for dollars all have one thing in common. They are all on the government teet in one way or the other. They have no perception of reality. What they are is a "gets mines" minded set of folks. The common denominator amongst liberals Is they all have a very strong sense of entitlement. They have done nothing to earn this, they just believe they are entitled to a freebie because they exist. Many of them also tend to have inferiority complexes and most likely were raised by parents who constantly told them the man was holding them down.

You will never convince them that we should all be responsible for our own actions because they are on the receiving end of the freebie.

And that's a pretty significant contribution for someone who only made $2500 last year!

Re: obamacare upheld

The insurance companies have already started jacking up the rates to get ahead of the curve. Some of the mandates are already causing the costs of health care to go up.

Real life, here is what I predict happening. Again... Speaking as one of the many small business owners who will not be able to afford health insurance for our employees. We will be forced to dump them on the system and pay the penalties. Our system is going to be crushed under the weight of all the new government health care recipients. To think taxes are not going to have to increase to cover this ridiculous mandate is naive at best.

Lastly... Since when is it my responsibility to pay for irresponsible behavior from others? Joe ghetto has fifteen kids by a half dozen different welfare mothers and I am somehow morally obligated to foot the bill? Baloney!

Re: obamacare upheld

Here is a perfect example of what odumbellcare represents to a small business owner. Two years ago... Increase of premiums by 40% ... Forced to reduce health care benefits to afford policy. Last year... 60% increased... Forced to further reduce healthcare benefits to afford policy. This June... 20% increase... We are trying to figure out how to keep from further reductions in healthcare benefits. We represent 13 working class families. We are being punished for working so the liberal elitists can buy the votes of folks who are too lazy to work.

Thanks... But no thanks! Only a moron would fail to see the game being played here. It is about government control.
