Mine is a norinco. came using ak mags. Paratrooper length I think they call it. I dunno much about SKS, or care for them. I just have many AKs and it took the mags. That said it is a great rifle. I wouldnt sell it.
I have seen those duckbill SKS mags detach somehow. My friend has one that uses stripper clips a lot. Not my thing.

Yep... You have one of the good ones. Norinco is a chinese plant. I had a chance to pick one up from a guy at a gun show not once... Not twice... But three times and he would not budge off his asking price of four hundred. This was at three different shows I saw this guy. Next time I saw him it was gone and he got his asking price...

The duck bill type mags are what you have to use if one just removes the non detachable mag. Sux! I'm jealous ... Don't let that one get away from you!
