I have fired the Ruger LC9 and I disliked the trigger pull on it. It was very long IMHO, and felt almost rough or gritty. maybe it was just the gun but that was my feeling on it.

I don't own one and have not fired one but I have handled the S&W M&P 9 at the gunshop. It has a grip that is pretty friendly to smaller hands and I have heard good things about it. There are other 9's I like better but not in the price range you mentioned. Buds has the M&P 9 listed at 478.00.

I just noticed you mentioned she does not like the trigger on the M&P. Sorry about the post. :mrgreen:
