I had not thought much about it until I read this thread. Thanks... after the free booze, we would have all gone into the parking lot and fired a few rounds into the air but nobody was sober enough to find the door.

I was in a liquor store this morning and was aloud to taste three different ages of Laphroaig (very expensive single malt scotch) and a Jack Daniels Single Barrel (each chain or liquor store has their own barrel). How do the laws work on consuming beverages in liquor stores when talking about "tasting". It is not uncommon for liquor stores to allow tasting of everything from wine to liquor. I wonder how that affects the whole 51% rule?
