Something to consider. The Kahr has been known to function best after about 500 rounds. That is a crazy amount for a break in period but true.

Magazine issues or the return spring would be my first suspicions. You can call them, tell them what the gun is doing and they will offer up what they suspect and send you the parts to repair it. They will also offer to let you send it in and they will fix it. They will pay postage if you ask nice. They typically don't offer unless you ask or the weapon is fairly new. On my PM9 I had the exact issue as Excaliber mentioned above and it caused the exact problems he posted above. They mailed me a follower for each of my magazines... free as posted above.
