Interesting Test. I first will submit the following test subject pictures.
Four guys sitting there. I asked them what's in my pocket.... I got one who said nothing ... one said cell phone.... even though he was holding my cell phone taking the pics.... one said wallet and the other said car keys.
They said ...so what is it... I said wallet...LOL. They said...yeah that's what it looked like. i asked... would you have noticed it if I had not have ask you to point at it and take a pic... they said no.

Re: Restaurant Scenario
I just so happen to be sitting in a place in Plano called Burger break . They have wireless internet so I am posting from within. No gun buster signs here.... but lord help me they are playing some kind of rap music in the back ground that may cause me to shoot myself with my pocket concealed Kahr P380 .mgood wrote:Just eat your dinner.03Lightningrocks wrote:Ok... OK.... how about this? WHAT IF.... I am in a resteraunt with a gun buster sign when I see someone else get ask to leave? let's just say they refuse. Since I have not been outed and asked to leave.... am I legally in the clear to blast the guy for refusing to leave or would I be required to first draw on him and warn him to leave as asked?
that will probably cause them to post the place when it would stop the suicides if they would just quit with the rap music.

Re: Restaurant Scenario
I feel the problem some folks have is that they like wearing form fitting clothing. it makes it tough to conceal carry if your sporting a pair of jeans and a shirt that looks like someone painted it on you. Think frumpy or carry ankle style. pocket carry would be hard for some of the folks I see in public. You just have to dress for the weapon. you cannot have your cake and eat it too when it comes to concealment. I suppose a suit wearing feller has a huge advantage.

Re: Restaurant Scenario
I am still trying to visualize the mentality(or bravado) of the hamburger store manager who would walk up to a person he knows is armed and tell him to get out...LOL. These what if threads leave out the very basic of common sense. I am telling ya right now... it is far more likely they call the cops and report an armed customer in the restaurant. The manager would be one real stupid individual to risk a possible shoot out over his verbal command to leave. He/she would only know you have a gun and know nothing of your intentions or criminal background. This situation will occur just after the world ends in 2012.

Re: Restaurant Scenario
I too would leave but first I would inform them that I have a CHL which permits me by law to carry concealed. If they didn't understand what a CHL was and still wanted me to leave, well.... I would leave.
I don't think it would go down this way. I think it is more likely they would call the cops and report a customer in the resteraunt with a gun. Hopefully they don't blow it out of proportion when they call. Then I would show the police my CHL and hope he understood the law. That is if I am not in Round Rock Texas, where I would probably get gunned down in a hail of police gun fire...LOL. Hopefully, I would get to finish my fries before they arrive. i hate wasting food.
