Re: Address on my CHL

OK...so now you folks are making me question my thoughts on this. Is being a student an exemption the rules concerning the address on your drivers license and CHL?

Make them match. Doesn't matter where you actually live, they just need to be the same address. The address on my DL and CHL is an address I lived at 2 moves ago. I see no reason to change them until my DL expires, which is the year 2015.
Then you're in violation of the law. You must change the address on your CHL no later than 30 days from the date you moved into your new residence.

I'd say the only exception to this is if you're a student, since your parents' home is your permanent residence and any place you live to attend school is considered a temporary residence.
This was how I saw it also. I sure hope this is right.

:iagree:

its best to have the same address on both .
:iagree: with USA1 who said :iagree: to aggie10. You want to keep the 2 addresses in agreement with each other, to avoid confusion and questions.
and :iagree: with joe817 who said :iagree: with USA1 when he said :iagree: to aggie10. Furthermore... :iagree: so strongly that this is what I told my son to do. I really do hope I am not misguided in my fatherly advice to my son. :leaving
