Yep. The guy is isolated as one guy can be. A person has an easier shot at taking out one of our presidents and that one isn't easy. One does not just walk up to Putin.mrvmax wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 7:40 amYep, an ex KGB guy who is head of the country is not going to be easy to kill. This is not a Hollywood movie, it is pretty unrealistic to think it could easily be done.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 10:36 pm I'm just saying you don't get close to a guy like Putin. He is protected at all levels. It is going to take someone from inside his circle to turn on him to take out Putin.

I believe you but that doesn't change anything about my comment concerning the reason for the 2nd amendment.puma guy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 11:36 pmDo some research and you'll find eastern Ukraine has been under assault from the Russians for a long time.parabelum wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 11:25 pmSpot on. And mind you, Commie invaders are not doing so great in toe to toe combat, even against 14 year old Ukrainian children, so…they shifted to more barbaric air and long range missile attacks against the civilians. Maybe it is time we get more involved. How we can sit by while Russian soldiers commit war crimes like this is beyond me. If they invaded our Country one street and one county equivalent at the time and we the Patriots fought back, we’d be labeled “Nationslists” as well. Don’t believe Pravda.
Situations like this are a good reminder of what the real reason for our 2nd amendment is all about. Contrary to what leftist scum like Joe Biden think, It ain't about hunting. Many of these innocent victims are not armed and have no way to fight back.

Well Now! Just stroll right up to Putins house and start shooting? Sounds like a plan. Maybe catch him off guard. While he is working in the garage on his car.

If you ask me, Putin has lost his mind. So we have a leader with early onset dementia and Russia is being run by a paranoid maniac. Good lord we are all in trouble.

I have seen ads on FB that claim Ukrainian women just love older men. Then they show a picture of a beautiful woman in her mid twenties. At 60, fat and single, it gives me hope. ![Jester :biggrinjester:](./images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)

Re: A Ukraine post....
I do agree that no matter the level of corruption, Putin has no right to invade them. Our government ain't much better than Ukraines. I sure would hate to see China invade us because our politicians are all a bunch of lying crooks.mojo84 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 8:48 am I do not trust our mainstream media and government. I trust the Russian media and government even less. Those who are buying into the Putin and Russia media spin should be as skeptical about what they hear and believe as they expect others to be about what is heared from our government and media.
I am not convinced an invasion by Russia is justified. I understand many politicians in Ukraine may be corrupt. Is politician corruption the standard to justify an invasion? I hope that is not a suitable justification as I would hate for someone to apply that standard to the USA. Every country has to deal with corruption.

Re: A Ukraine post....
It is interesting to read a perspective not pumped out by our corrupt propaganda machine here in America. To every story there is an apposing story. Why anyone would believe any propaganda pumped out by our politicians and media sight unseen at this point is beyond me.Ruark wrote: ↑Wed Mar 02, 2022 8:11 pm Just had another Skype session with my wife's cousin in Kharkov. She lives in the east central part of town. She said everything's quiet around her apartments, they just walked down to the store and got some stuff. Utilities are all working fine. They hear occasional shots off in the distance, but haven't seen anything. They (she, her neighbors and friends, etc.) are anxious for the Russians to clean out the Ukrainian nationalists that have terrorized everybody for 8 years so life can get back to normal. Just passing it on.
Incidentally that photograph of Zelenski in camo was taken last year, while he was visiting Ukrainian troops that were attacking Donetsk.
