I don't know how much ammo you have but it get's real heavy. I literally collapsed the top shelf under my wet bar where I store all my ammo. I had to reinforce it before putting it all back. It sounded like someone ran a car into my house. It was at night of course. But anyway.... just a heads up.powerboatr wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 12:14 pmi have a dehumidifier thing in the safe.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 1:56 amI don't like keeping my firearms in their cases due to the possibility of trapping moisture, causing rust and pitting on my firearms. All my cases are in the same closet and my ammo is all in the same cabinet so I don't have to "go looking" for anything. I keep my range bag on top of the safe with everything I might need at the range in it.powerboatr wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 9:30 pm got it all delivered and set up
whats the consensus of leaving the rifles in cases in the safe? i prefer to grab and go, not go looking for my gear and cases
my ar 10 case is big and has lots of stuff on the case,
my other lock box i just left em all cased and
Not to mention that the cases take up too much room in the safe.
i may have to go get a wall cabinet to put near the new safe for all the cases. ammo is locked in separate lock box
got lots of re-arranging to do now. old lock up was smaller .
guess a trip to lowes for a wall cabinet is next.space is becoming a premium real fast in the loading room
