I've never owned a KT but my older son had a P11 and I shot it some. I agree it's fit and finish were nothing to be overly proud of however I never heard of the thing failing to fire or feed. And both my son and I could shoot it with more than acceptable accuracy.

The reason my son sold it was because the trigger "bit" his finger everytime he fired. Bit mine too. Not a fun gun to shoot but seemed to meet at least minimum functional requirements at a good price. After a couple of years son replaced the KT with a Sig P250 subcompact for a couple of hundred more $$. Slightly larger, but a trigger smooth as glass and easy to shoot.

At the end of the day one must decide between ones wants and needs and what one is willing to spend to get it. I'd much rather have that KT P11 than nothing, especially if that was all my firearm budget could afford.
