Shot my first IDPA match last wednesday
Oh man where to begin. I shot my first IDPA match with the Dallas Action Pistol Shooters at Elm Fork Shooting Range in Dallas. This is the nicest, most professional group of people I've ever had the privilege of shooting with. They were very intent on everyone adhering to the safety rules and regulations. They were firm yet relaxed in their approach to newcomers to the match and made sure that having a good time while training was the main objective. The stages were pretty good and the fellowship was amazing. I like the variety of shooters they had and i didn't do too bad finishing 17 out of 23. The price to shoot the match was only $3 for the first time and a $12 range fee which is still cheaper than just paying full range fee at this particular range. Overall a great experience and can't wait to do it again. I recommend this group to anyone looking to shoot either IDPA or USPSA matches
