stick a black skeleton stock on it and a bipod and you would have an "EVIL sniper rifle use for only killing innocent people" if you beleave the news media. :grumble

700 is a wonderful platform.

The us armed forces have used the 700 as an official sniper rifle so I think that counts :biggrinjester:

According to the guys on ARFCOM the .223 in vmax fragments right after it hits and shreds the deers lungs giving it insane stopping power for such a tiny and light round.

There is a pretty good long picture thread about deer taken with .223
