A friend of mine uses that same setup with no problems. He also carries in a shoulder holster. Good luck.

Re: Do any LE agencies sell/auction seized weapons?
StewNTexas: That reminds me of a visit we took to Hot Springs, Arkansas on Labor Day weekend of 1997, which was the weekend that Lady Diana died. We took a lake ride on the military surplus DUKW's (ducks) which are the amphibious trucks that the US military used during WW II. It was very scenic and...

Re: Kempf Gun Shop
I ordered my first kit from them. I ordered the upgrades as well. The LCT Kit from Kempf's is the best value I could find when I decided to start reloading. I bought the Lee Scale. However, I have since purchased a digital scale ($25) and it works fine. I would go with the digital scale. BTW, I have...

Re: Not the way I would do it
Just because you CAN take advantage of the uninformed, doesn't mean you SHOULD or that it is right! I think the gun shops who are gouging, are really missing the boat here! We have the greatest opportunity to increase our numbers and inform a lot of the general public about our rights. Now is the ti...

Re: Mossberg 500 equipment question
I have a 590. I went back to the standard stock. The pistol grip is just at the wrong angle for shooting from the lower area. I also am looking for a collapsible stock.

Re: New to reloading -- Need advice
I use the same with a 1.20 OAL. Works great in my G26. Some reloading mag said Win231 worked best balistically in 9mm, .40 cal and 45 ACP of which I reload for all. Lucky me!Jeremae wrote:I use 4.9 grains of Win231 for 115gr plated 9mms
Welcome to the sickness of reloading! Have fun!

Asleep, Man you would get my vote if I was on a jury! :thumbs2: You did everything I hope I would do. As far as I am concerned, the other guy is lucky not to have lead poisoning!! :fire If Asleep was not justified in that situation, then what good is the plastic?? Thank God you did not have to shoot...

Re: Travelling to Florida
I have flown Southwest and Continental. Southwest has a card you will need to fill out. If you ask, they will give you a few for the return and future flights (so you can have them filled out prior to the airport). They have always put the card on top of the locked (NON TSA) case. You must physicall...

Flying into Baltimore
I am flying into Baltimore Tuesday. From there I will rent a car and drive to State College, PA. I know I cannot carry in Maryland. My question is, when I return to the Baltimore Airport, will I have any problems declaring my firearm? I will put my gun in a locked case, in my luggage prior to crossi...

Thanks Amber! Just the input I am looking for! I agree with most of your comments. See corrections. How about this? Re: Pre-Approved Verbiage
I downloaded a Word .doc of the card's front and back. The front is the Slash across a gun and dollar sign. The back will say this: Texas Concealed Handgun License Holders: l Are at least 21 years of age l Have no felony or domestic violence convictions l Have no history of mental illness or drug ad...

Re: Pre-Approved Verbiage
Thanks guys. I printed some of the cards from the equelforce site. They are close to what I was wanting. I will see if I can edit them for Texas.
