I've done business at Cabela's in Buda, and at McBride's. Since I work in East Austin, Cabela's is more convenient for me on the way home.

McBride's has that good old-fashioned gun store atmosphere, but it's a little out of my commute route. If I have the time to linger in town after work, I like going there. Ironically, New Braunfels does not have a decent gun store, and the WalMart there never has a decent ammo selection.

I do recognize the concept of paying a little more for convenience, therefore I don't gripe about the price difference.

Value is what somebody is willing to pay. I love the free-market system.
