They are cashing in on the fact that it looks cool specially in slow mo. The misconception that temporary stretch cavity causes reliable wounding. That the measure a a good round is speed and foot pounds of KE. That few people know the difference between temporary stretch cavity and permanent crush cavity. That large temp cavity shown in ballistics gel is not actually crush cavity, crush cavity is the small sub-diameter hole that follows the projectile while those cool large clouds in gel are stretch cavity.
