To those that say that contacting the DPS during your wait only lessens their productivity, I agree. However, at 100+ days I thought I needed to see if there was an issue. Well, I was going to call of Friday but stayed too busy through the day.
This morning, while picking up the phone to dial I check the status and found "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active". So, now I am looking forward to receiving the plastic.
Unfortunately, now I don't have any suggestions for those in similar situations (still good for me!).

Is it time to call/email?
Well, by my math, today makes 100 days since the application was mailed and 90 since the money order was cashed. I have been very patient (I think anyways). I emailed twice when I had not received my PIN yet, which I finally received March 14. But, I have not inquired since then. I understand they are running behind, but I've been keeping my eye on this 90 day mark (since money accepted) and think it is time to get in touch with someone.
What do you folks think? And, what is the best way, email or phone call?
Thanks,
tryan
