went to dallas
wife, kid, and i (and dogs) took off for dallas about 4:00am on thursday and make there in 14 hours. we left dallas, saturday about 1:00pm and made it back to sugar land at 8:00pm.
Learned a lot about mass evacuations. we layed out a plan and followed to a tee. No problems on the road, not problems finding gasoline. I might write someting up on what we did, but i will say, that remembering those people stuck on I-10 and the super dome in new orleans caused me to ignore what the officials where telling us to do. we did our own thing and made out pretty good.
