Thursday, we were to be in our modest RV in Loyd Park, Friday was to be a shopping trip to a nearby Costco, Saturday was to be the Texas Air Gun Show, Sunday a day of R&R and go home Monday.
Alas, all of that, along with our July RV trip to Lake Tawakoni has been cancelled as I try to recover from bacterial meningitis contracted during an unfortunate/botched Spiral Cord Stimulator trial.
With a little luck and a lot of prayer, I shall recover and be out of the hospital in mid-July and we'll be in the high country NM and CO Mountains in August and September.
Thanks to all for your concern and prayers.

Re: Spinal Meningitis
Thanks, but I don't think I'd get better treatment anywhere than I'm receiving here at Christus Trinity Mother Francis in Jacksonville. We're all home folk here in our little part of the Pineywoods.Bitter Clinger wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 9:23 pm OG,
That is a pretty serious issue. You should consider transferring to a University hospital in a major city.
I wish you a speedy recovery!

Spinal Meningitis
After learning Lumbar Injections weren't helping and Neurosurgery wasn't an option, we opted for a Spinal Cord Stimulator trial. Wires inserted Friday, felt great Saturday morning, Wound started leaking around noon on Saturday GREAT PAIN Sunday. Wires removed Monday, mowed Monday afternoon. Tuesday, upon awakening, I was experiencing debilitating neck and head pain- the worst pain in 76 years and could hardly walk.
The spinal fluid drainage and resultant infection resulted in Spinal Meningitis. With a little luck and a lot of prayers, I may be released in 2-3 weeks from our local non 30.07,.07 posted hospital.
