Re: Yellowstone tv show
We enjoy Netflix and we enjoy Amazon Prime movies. If this Soros guy is such a threat to our American way of like, why is he still such a threat? Just askin'....?

Re: Yellowstone tv show
We thoroughly enjoined "Longmire"; OTOH, the "Yellowstone" series has yet to prove itself in our house of many wonders. Too much foul language and soft core porn as far as I'm concerned; however, the scenery and the plot are real.txglock21 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 29, 2018 7:02 am Longmire was the reason I started subscribing to Netflix when A&E dropped it and Netflix picked it up. I just wish Netflix had done more than just two seasons. I still go back and rewatch all 6 when nothing else is on. I can't say that about very many shows or movies. Have Yellowstone DVR'ed, but haven't had time to sit down and watch any yet.
We love that part of the country and, Lord willin', we intend to spend next summer up there in our modest RV. We probably won't go all the way up into BC because of the Canuck's silly anti-gun policies?

Longmire is a hard act to follow. We hope Yellowstone get better.Richbirdhunter wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 3:52 pm I spent last month rewatching Longmire, it’s a great show.
A local 'Church Lady' came to my hospital room yesterday. She's a world traveler, hard shell Baptist, Travel Agent. I hadn't got the word, "Yellowstone" out of my mouth before she proclaimed , TRASH". I suggested that she turn off the sound and enjoy the scenery.....just before she got up and left.

Re: Yellowstone tv show
On leave from the hospital yesterday, Mrs. Oldgringo and I watched the remainder of the first segment and decided to record the next. We understand the age old plot and decided to keep on recording the series. If the acting, plot, language, etc. is offensive, turn off the sound and just enjoy the setting and the scenery, eh? We really don't care for the commercial interruptions!
Our days are numbered, I think we'll head back up that way next summer, for the summer, Lord willin'.

Re: Yellowstone tv show
I got a 4 hours leave and watched a couple hours (?) of the premiere before I had to get back to the hospital for more antibiotics. Not much more cussing and sex than in other nighttime adult TV series - although we really could have done without what there was.
We've been blessed with 5 full summers in that neighborhood and love the scenery and most of the local people. I'm not a professional movie critic; therefore, we are not quite ready to give up on the series just yet.

Re: Yellowstone tv show
We love the Yellowstone, Big Sky Country and the rest of the mountain west and usually enjoy a Kevin Costner performance. These negative comments shall not defer us from watching, once I escape this confinement.

Re: Yellowstone tv show
Mrs. Oldgringo recorded it and we are looking forward to watching it once I get home from the hospital. We thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of LONGMIRE. One might call that western sheriff a 'soap'. Gotta' love that western mountain scenery.
