It might be wishful thinking on my part, but I kinda' feel the way HP does. The various news blogs seem to be pretty much nay votes on gun control but very much pro loonie control. You can bet our elected dweebs have people watching these things, as does the NRA. The appointed trough feeders and at least One more who are not concerned about re-election are the ones to watch starting the day after the current POTUS' coronation and gala party night.Heartland Patriot wrote:To ME the poll is USELESS. And discounting the seemingly Info Tech heavy presence among members of this forum, the average conservative gun owner who does go to that page is more likely to vote only once, not even thinking that it could be done multiple times. Whereas the demographic of liberal younger people (and more tech-savvy) many of whom are also more prone to thinking of cheating as an opportunity to succeed or "win" will perhaps, like I stated before, vote until they get bored. I want to see Gallup or Rasmussen put out the results of a poll asking this sort of thing before I get too worried.
That said, there will have to be offerings/compromises made. My bet is that it will most certainly be "high cap" magazines and perhaps waiting periods for purchases. I don't even know what the alleged "gun show loophole" is, but it will also be on the table.
BTW, my (ample) gut feel was that Romney would displace the curren POTUS. Maybe, I'll be right this time.
