Ten hours is a long time for anyone to sit in a classroom, but there is a lot of information to be processed. Students who go to learn just enough to pass the test are missing a lot of valuable knowledge.
Our four (4) hour renewal class last week was a whole lot more educational than our original class 4-5 years ago. As said before, I've learned more, at my leisure, on this forum over the past several years than can be taught in a class. For example, I'd never heard of innuendos. :evil2: "rlol"

Has anyone ever wondered whether the mandated 10 hour course is a legislative smokescreen attempt to justify the $140 Texas state fee? Are $140 Texas CH licensees really more knowledgeable and responsible than say $10 Alabama licensees? Just askin...
