And if it becomes a common knowledge that individual citizens can defend THEMSELVES against these villains, then why do they need a state apparatus, or at least a large state apparatus, to do it for them...law enforcement officers are indeed necessary, but I think the need for them would be lessened by a generally responsible armed citizenry.
Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel. ITMT, please be reminded that the Bloombergs of this country do not elect themselves. They are elected by voters who see the various Bloombergs as trustwothy officials who will carry out the will of the majority. Therein lies the problem.
Kinda' sad, ain't it? I'm glad I have the NRA fighting the good fight challenging the Bloombergs for me, aren't you?
