Nothing ostensible about them.

For all I know someone could be an imposter. But you're probably right, though. But the fact is is that all we really know is what they're telling us. We know two things about Mr. Hendee and those are: what he said on the radio about what he does at his business and what he actually does at his business

Re: Taste of Texas Posted

Fast Mopar:

Before you go off half-cocked (sorry, no pun intended), you should note that at least one board member here has verified that Taste of Texas does not have a 30.06 sign posted. As a self-described CHL holder himself, Mr. Hendee surely knows what the law is and what he has to do to make his business off-limits to legally carried defensive sidearms. That he hasn't posted indicates to me that his business is not anti-CHL. He might have been running his mouth about it on the radio, but the entrance to the building is where the rubber really meets the road here.

I don't "smell hypocrite" here, myself. I smell someone making a rhetorical point about property rights. We just got done here with a long thread (http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... =7&t=14905) where a bunch of people on this board who are ostensibly CHL holders themselves made the exact same rhetorical point. Do any of those people actually have their businesses posted with 30.06 signs? I doubt it, but here they are telling me they can exclude CHL if they want to because of property rights.

For me, it boils down to 30.06 sign = anti-gun bigot. No 30.06 sign = ?????

And there you have it... If Ed was really an anti-gun bigot he'd have the sign up. Unfortunately, his place is out of my league or I'd go there for dinner tonight just to be contrary.

Re: Taste of Texas Posted

Well, If businesses weren't allowed to post...... But that's being discussed out in another thread.

Fortunately, my wife is a vegetarian.
